A wind advisory has been issued for most of the area this Monday 9-30-24. As a cold front passes this morning into the afternoon expect strong south winds switching out of the northwest between 20-40 mph with some gusts upwards of 55 mph. Temperatures will hold in the 60s and low 70s today with low humidity. Elevated fire conditions will also be elevated to and near critical levels across the state and into Minnesota. Red flag warnings have also been issued from SD and southern ND into northcentral MN.
Wind advisories are in effect until 7:00 pm and red flag warnings until 9:00 pm here in Fargo.
