I’ve had people say to me, “I can’t believe it snowed in April” It had me scratching my head as last year on this date we had blizzard warnings and 8+” of snow. It snows the majority of Aprils here in ND and MN. Here’s a look at some of the snowfall totals around the area:
Fargo: 7″
Moorhead: 8.2″
Ulen: 11.5″
Ellendale: 8″
Pelican Rapids: 7.5″
Fergus Falls: 8.5″
Abercrombie: 8.2″
A healthy precip producer for sure and that’s great news for our AG community. Now we will begin to melt the snow away as we head into the weekend. Yeah, there is a slight chance for some light snow on Friday but accumulations look minor.
Then we take a look into the FOLLOWING weekend where temps are expected to be in the 60s and 70s across the state:
A nice warm up indeed for the 12/13th of April!!!
