Slushy snow still on the way

Snow has been slow to push in.   Officially 1.6″ of snow yesterday and we WILL add more to that today.  Moderate to occasionally heavy snow will push into the Valley after 10am and last through evening rush.   Roadways will become slushy but with temps at or just above freezing, i’m not expecting travel to become too difficult but it WILL be slippery afternoon into evening.  Here’s a look at a few of the models for snow predictions and it’s pretty spot on with an additional 4-6″ across the area:

After this system, a weak upper level wave will bring a few snow showers on Friday but that won’t be a big deal.   Good news is, by middle and end of next week temps look to rebound back into the 50s!!!
