Thunderstorms and steady rain showers have dumped several inches of rainfall across North Dakota over the past several days. Numerous reports of flash flooding came in Tuesday as Bismarck Mandan, ND received three to six inches of rainfall over an hour or two Tuesday afternoon, followed by another round of 1-3 inches of rain to hit a wider area Wednesday. Rain showers remain in the forecast for the rest of today Friday 8-16-24, but for the most part outside of a few pockets of a quarter inch or so, additional rainfall will be miniscule.
