When tornado watches/warnings are issued, there is still SOME confusion as to the difference between a watch and a warning…..here is a GREAT example:
When a WATCH is issued, all the ingredients are there for a possible “taco” warning
When a WARNING is issued the “taco” has been confirmed
The BEST way to keep informed if you are not by a radio or TV is by purchasing a NOAA weather radio. These could be life savers, especially at night when you are sleeping. The alarm on the one pictured below is loud enough to wake even a sound sleeper.
Prepare now for severe weather season which is only a few months away.
