Isolated Strong Storm Potential Friday Evening

Through Friday evening there will be a slight chance for a few isolated storms to develop in areas of Eastern North Dakota and Western/Central Minnesota. An isolated tornado, strong wind gusts to 60 mph, and one-inch hail will be possible this evening. Into the overnight hours, more scattered showers and some storms are likely with some localized areas of heavier rainfall. A few storms tonight may be on the strong side as well favoring Minnesota. However, the main severe threat is this evening to early tonight for North Dakota and the Red River Valley.
