As those “black” lines (lines of equal pressure) are closer together, that indicates strong winds. Much of ND/MN will have strong winds on Friday, while all the snow will be confined to Michigan and into our soon to be 51st state.

Winds will be gusting just under 60 mph on Friday. Thankfully we won’t have any snow to deal with outside of an isolated rain/snow shower in the morning.
