Unfortunately, the Fourth of July looks wet, but there will be dry hours mixed in across the area with scattered showers and storms. A keep an eye on the radar kind of day.
High temperatures on the Fourth remain in the 70s to near 80 degrees, however with showers and storms around, when they pass through/nearby or you get caught in the outflow, temperatures may drop into the mid 60s and low 70s.
Wind will become variable in direction throughout the day under 15 mph and light at times but expect gustier conditions around showers and storms. Scattered showers and storms will become widespread through the morning and last all afternoon and evening, becoming less around sunset and dissipating overnight. Here is the 18z Hrrr model simulated radar for 12:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 11:00 pm.
