The Minnesota Timberwolves escaped with a 112-110 win over the San Antonio Spurs at the Target Center on Sunday evening.
The game’s opening tip off was delayed by about one hour, after the Spurs discovered an issue with the court in the pregame shoot around. Minnesota having to replace the entire hardwood court is what led to the game’s delayed start.
Donte DiVincenzo led six Wolves in double figures with 26 points, seven rebounds, and four assists off the bench. Rudy Gobert added 17 points, 15 rebounds, and two blocks. Jaden McDaniels also had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Julius Randle chipped in 16 points while Anthony Edwards tallied 14 points.
The Wolves improved to 17-14 with the win. The Pack will now visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night with the tip scheduled for 7 p.m. and game coverage available on NBA TV.
