Wolves power by Pistons after altercation leading to seven ejections

After trailing by 14 points after the first quarter and a second quarter fight that led to a handful of ejections… The Minnesota Timberwolves powered past the Detroit Pistons 123-104 on Sunday.

Five players and two coaches were ejected in the altercation, including Minnesota’s Naz Reid, Donte DiVincenzo, and Pablo Prigioni.

Julius Randle led the Wolves with 26 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Anthony Edwards added 25 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Rudy Gobert chipped in 19 points and 25 rebounds.

The Pack rose a record of 43-32 on the season. Minnesota now sits in seventh in the Western Conference, half a game behind Golden State for sixth place. The Wolves will now visit the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night beginning at 9 p.m. with game coverage available nationally on TNT.
