Wild take down Blackhawks thanks to Boldy’s three assist night

(Chicago, IL) — Matt Boldy had a big night as the Minnesota Wild beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2 at United Center.

Boldy had three assists in the victory, including one on the opening goal from Jared Spurgeon in the sixth minute of the game. The Wild had a 3-2 lead late in the third period before Marcus Foligno put the game away with an empty-netter. Freddy Gaudreau and Joel Eriksson Ek also scored in the victory.

Minnesota is in third place in the Central Division with 62 points and a 29-17-4 record. The Wild visit Toronto on Wednesday.
