Wild fall to Utah Hockey Club

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Minnesota Wild gave up a goal in every period during a 6-1 loss to the Utah Hockey Club at Delta Center. The Wild surrendered a pair of power play goals in the first period and trailed the rest of the way.

Freddy Gaudreau scored Minnesota’s only goal. Marc-Andre Fleury struggled only saving 25 of the 31 shots he faced in net.

The Wild are in third place in the Central Division with 72 points and a 34-21-4 record. They visit the Avalanche on Friday at 8 p.m.
