Wild fall to Rangers in OT; pick up point in the standings

The Minnesota Wild fell to the New York Rangers 5-4 in overtime on Wednesday night.

Marcus Johansson, Gustav Nyquist, Marco Rossi, and Brock Faber all scored for Minnesota. Filip Gustavsson saved 34 of the 39 shots he faced in net.

Minnesota fell to 41-28-7 on the season. The Wild currently host the Western Conference’s top Wild card spot with 89 points. Minnesota will continue the East coast road trip on Friday night in New York when they square off with the Islanders.
