(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild gave up four unanswered goals during a 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets at the Xcel Energy Center.
Jake Middleton scored in the first period to give Minnesota an early 1-0 lead before Winnipeg scored the next four goals. Filip Gustavsson saved 28 of the 31 shots he faced in net. Minnesota remains in second place in the Central Division with 30 points and a 13-4-4 record.
The Wild will now head to Buffalo to visit the Sabres on Wednesday evening.
