The Minnesota Wild edged the Washington Capitals 4-3 in a shootout.
Ryan Hartman, Yakov Trenin, and Marco Rossi all scored in regulation. Matt Boldy scored the only shootout goal. Marc-Andre Fleury saved 28 of the 31 shots he faced.
The Wild rose to 24-11-4 while the Capitals dropped to 25-10-3 on the season. Minnesota will now head to Raleigh, NC to square off with the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday evening beginning at 6 p.m.
