(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild began their 2024-25 campaign with a 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Xcel Energy Center.
Joel Eriksson Ek broke a 1-1 tie with a goal late in the second period, and Mats Zuccarello added a score in the middle of the third. Matt Boldy also lit the lamp in the victory and finished the game with three points, while Filip Gustavsson had 30 saves.
The Wild host the Seattle Kraken on Saturday night.
