The Minnesota Wild edged the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 in overtime to clinch a playoff berth on Tuesday night. Minnesota trailed 2-1 late in the third period before Joel Eriksson Ek scored the game-tying goal with 22 seconds remaining in regulation.

Marcus Johansson also scored in regulation for the Wild. Matt Boldy scored the overtime game-winner with 18 seconds remaining in the overtime period.

Filip Gustavsson saved 22 of the 24 shots he faced in regulation. Marc-Andre Fleury entered the game in overtime and saved all five shots he faced. Fleury now has 575 career NHL wins in net.

Minnesota improved to a record of 45-30-7 on the season. The Wild will now battle the Vegas Golden Knights in the Western Conference Quarterfinals best-of-seven series. This is the 11th time in the past 13 seasons that Minnesota is playing in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
