(London) — The U.S. women’s basketball team put together a dominant performance in the USA Basketball Showcase in London. The Americans beat Germany 84-57 in their second tune-up leading up to the Paris Olympics.
A’ja Wilson led the charge with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Breanna Stewart contributed 15 points and five assists. Brittney Griner rested and did not play in the exhibition contest.
Luisa Geiselsoder scored a team-high 13 points for Germany in the setback.
Team USA will begin Olympic competition against Japan on Monday.
