United defeat St. Louis

(St. Louis, MO) — The Minnesota United scored a pair of second-half goals during a 3-1 win over St. Louis City SC at CityPark on Saturday.

The Loons gave up a goal in the fourth minute before Bongokuhle Hlongwane tied the match in the 24th minute. Minnesota took the lead on an own-goal right after halftime, and Kelvin Yeboah added an insurance goal late. The United are in ninth place in the Western Conference with 11 wins, six draws, and 11 losses for 39 points.

Minnesota hosts Cincinnati on Wednesday.
