UND’s Jake Livanavage has been named the NCHC’s Defenseman of the Week.
He matched a single-game career high with three points on one goal and two assists in Friday’s matchup against then No. 20 Colorado College. His presence on both ends of the ice helped the Fighting Hawks to a weekend split against CC. In the two games he blocked a team-high seven shots along with being plus four in the plus/minus rating.
This is his third NCHC Defenseman of the Week honor this season. Livanavage and the rest of No. 17 UND will visit No. 7 Denver for a weekend series beginning on Friday night at 8:06 p.m.
