Twins wrap up Spring Training play with win over Rockies

The Minnesota Twins defeated the Colorado Rockies 5-3 in their final Spring Training tune up game on Tuesday afternoon.

Trevor Larnach led the offensive attack with a two-run homer. Christian Vazquez, Jeferson Morales, and Kyler Fedko all drove in a run apiece. Chris Paddack tossed 3 ⅓ innings while giving up two runs and striking out five batters in a no-decision. John Stankiewicz threw 1 ⅓ shutout innings in relief en route to earning the win.

Minnesota ended Spring Training with a 13-15 record in exhibition play.

The Twins will now head to St. Louis to battle the Cardinals on Opening Day Thursday afternoon. First pitch will be scheduled for 3:15 p.m. with Pablo Lopez slated to be on the bump for Minnesota with Sonny Gray countering for St. Louis.
