The Minnesota Twins took down the Chicago White Sox 6-1 in their series rubber match on Wednesday.
Pablo Lopez tossed seven innings while only giving up one run on four hits with five strikeouts en route to earning his first win of the 2025 season. Jhoan Duran and Danny Coulombe each tossed a shutout inning in relief.
Harrison Bader led the offensive attack with a three-run homer. Byron Buxton added a solo home run and drove in two runs in the game. Ty France also drove in a run.

The Twins will now welcome the Houston Astros to Target Field for their home opener on Thursday with the first pitch scheduled for 3:10 p.m. Joe Ryan set to get the nod for Minnesota while Hunter Brown will counter for Houston.
