Twins shutout Royals to end three game skid

On Wednesday night the Minnesota Twins took down the Kansas City Royals 4-0. The win ended a three game losing streak overall and a six game losing streak against the Royals.

Joe Ryan tossed seven shutout innings while only giving up two hits and striking out four batters. Griffin Jax tossed a clean eighth inning, giving up one hit, but maintaining the shutout. This was the second hold of the season for Jax. Closer Jhoan Duran shut the door in the ninth inning to secure the Twins win.

Ty France led the offense with two RBI. France and Matt Wallner each hit a solo home run in the game. Additionally, Edouard Julien drove in a run.

Minnesota and Kansas City will wrap up their four game series on Thursday afternoon with first pitch scheduled for 1:10 p.m. Bailey Ober will be on the bump for the Twins while Michael Wacha counters for the Royals.
