The Minnesota Twins shutout the Los Angeles Angels 5-0 on Sunday afternoon to complete the series sweep.
Joe Ryan tossed seven shutout innings while allowing only four hits and striking out 11 batters. Ryan set a career-high with 26 swing-and-misses in the outing.
Ty France and Ryan Jeffers drove in two runs apiece for Minnesota. Trevor Larnach also picked up an RBI in the win.

The Twins will now head to Cleveland to begin a four game series and seven game road trip. First pitch for tonight’s game is scheduled for 5:10 p.m. Bailey Ober is scheduled to get the start for Minnesota while Gavin Williams is slated to be on the bump for the Guardians.
The Twins enter with a record of 12-16 on the season while the Guardians are 15-12 on the year.
