MINNEAPOLIS – The Twins announce Hall of Famer Tony Oliva and Twins Hall of Famer Kent Hrbek suffered strokes days apart.
The team says the 86-year-old Oliva “has had a series of mini strokes over the last month. He is currently receiving medical attention but is expecting a full recovery. We hope to see him back out at Target Field in the near future.”
The Twins say the 64-year-old Bloomington, Minnesota native Hrbek “suffered a minor stroke following routine knee surgery a few weeks ago. He is recovering at home and expects to be back at Target Field soon.”
