The Minnesota Twins fell to the Chicago White Sox 3-0 in their series finale in seven innings on Thursday afternoon. The game was delayed then called due to rain after the seventh inning.
Chris Paddack gave up two runs over five innings and was tagged with the loss. Jorge Alcala gave up one run over two innings in relief. Minnesota tallied six hits and left seven runners on base, but couldn’t scratch a run across the plate.
The Twins will now welcome the Angels to Target Field for a weekend series beginning tonight at 6:40 p.m. Simeon Woods-Richardson is scheduled to be on the bump for Minnesota.
Minnesota is now 9-16 on the season.
