Twins crush Diamondbacks

(Phoenix, AZ) — The Minnesota Twins evened up their series with the Arizona Diamondbacks by earning an 8-3 win at Chase Field on Wednesday night.

Jose Miranda got the scoring started with a three-run double in the top of the second, while Willi Castro added a two-run home run in the fifth. Simeon Woods Richardson earned his third win after holding Arizona to three runs on four hits in 5 1/3 innings. The Twins remain in second place in the AL Central at 44-36.

David Festa makes his MLB debut on the mound when Minnesota takes on Arizona in the rubber-match Thursday at 2:40 p.m.
