Turnovers cost Lynx in loss to Sun

The Minnesota Lynx fell to the Connecticut Sun 78-73, dropping a second straight game on Thursday night.

Alanna Smith paced four Lynx in double figures with 14 points. Kayla McBride added 13 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Courtney Williams and Bridget Carleton chipped in 12 points apiece.

DeWanna Bonner powered the Sun with 24 points and nine rebounds while  Alyssa Thomas added a 13 points, 14 assist, and 10 rebound triple-double.

The Lynx fell to 14-6 on the season and Connecticut rose to 16-4 on the year. Minnesota will now host the Washington Mystics on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
