(Abu Dhabi) — The Americans recorded another win in the USA Basketball Showcase. Team USA held off Australia for a 98-92 win in exhibition action Monday in Abu Dhabi.
Anthony Davis came off the bench to lead the charge with 17 points, 14 rebounds and a pair of blocks. Devin Booker chipped in with 16 points, while Anthony Edwards led all starters with 14. The team had a disappointing 18 turnovers in the contest after recording 15 in their Showcase opener against Canada last week.
Jock Landale led the Aussies with 20 points, while Josh Giddey finished with 17 points, eight boards and seven assists in the losing effort.
Team USA will face Nikola Jokic and Serbia on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi.
