MINNESOTA & NORTH DAKOTA – Those with cabin fever will be happy to see golf courses in the area are opening this week.
King’s Walk Arnold Palmer Signature Course in Grand Forks announced it opened at noon Thursday. Lincoln Golf Course is scheduled to open Friday weather permitting.
Valley City Town & Country Club announced on social media it opened at 11:00 Thursday morning. Bjornson Park Golf Course in Valley City is opening on Friday according to the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.
The driving ranges at Village Green and The Meadows will take reservations starting at 10:00 Friday morning. Both courses will tee off the season Saturday morning at 8:30. Tee times will be available for walk-ins only. Course officials will announce on Friday if golf carts will be able to be used because of the weather and course conditions.
Hawley Golf Club announces on social media it’s opening at 8:00 Saturday morning.
Lakeview Course in Detroit Lakes is set to open Friday. Detroit Country Club in Detroit Lakes is set to open at 8:45 Saturday morning.
Thumper Pond Golf Course in Ottertail is set to open on Saturday.
