The Kansas City Royals edged the Baltimore Orioles 2-1. Bobby Witt Jr. drove in the game-winning run for the second straight game KC won the best-of-three series 2-0. The Royals will square off with the New York Yankees in the best-of-five AL Divisional Series.
National League
The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the New York Mets 5-3.. Jackson Chourio hit two solo homers while Garrett Mitchell hit a two-run homer. The best-of-three series is now tied 1-1. Game Three in Milwaukee Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
The San Diego Padres defeated the Atlanta Braves 5-4. Jackson Merrill and Manny Machado each drove in 2 runs for the Padres. San Diego won the best-of-three series 2-0. The Padres will now battle the Los Angeles Dodgers in the best-of-five NL Divisional Series.
