Lynx’s Collier, Reeve win awards

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Lynx took home a couple of awards.

Forward Napheesa Collier was named WNBA Defensive Player of the Year, while head coach Cheryl Reeve won WNBA Coach and Executive of the Year. Collier averaged 1.9 steals and 1.4 blocks per game while leading the league in defensive rating. Reeve led the team to the second-best record in the WNBA this season at 30-10. The Lynx are seeking their fifth title in franchise history this season.

Collier, Reeve, and the rest of the Lynx will host the Connecticut Sun in Game Two of the best-of-five WNBA Semifinals series on Tuesday night.
