(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Minnesota Wild stole a couple of points with a 5-4 shootout win over the Utah Hockey Club at Delta Center.
The Wild were down one in the final minute of regulation when Marco Rossi knocked in a game-tying goal to extend the contest. Filip Gustavsson stopped all shots he saw in overtime and the shootout, and Matt Boldy scored in the shootout to give Minnesota the victory. Marat Khusnutdinov, Kirill Kaprizov, and Marcus Johansson also lit the lamp in the win.
The Wild are tied at the top of the Central Division with 42 points and a 19-5-4 record. Minnesota hosts Edmonton on Thursday night.
