The NFL’s biggest game of the season features a pair of familiar faces. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles eye revenge against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in a Super Bowl 57 rematch.
Hurts and star running back Saquon Barkley combined for an eye-popping six rushing touchdowns in a 55-23 blowout win over the Commanders in the NFC Championship game. It was the most points scored in a championship game in league history.
Meanwhile, Mahomes commanded Kansas City to a 32-29 win over the Bills to earn the AFC title. The quarterback threw for 245 yards and combined for three total touchdowns as Josh Allen and Buffalo got eliminated by KC for the fourth time in the team’s last five playoff runs.
The Chiefs will go for an NFL-record third straight championship when Super Bowl 59 kicks off from New Orleans on February 9th. Kansas City edged Philadelphia 38-35 two years ago to begin their quest for a three-peat.
