Moorhead native, Will Borgen, has been traded from the Pacific Northwest to the Big Apple.
New York Rangers General manager Chris Drury announced Wednesday that the team has acquired defenseman Will Borgen, a third, and a sixth round pick in the 2025 draft from the Seattle Kraken in exchange for forward Kaapo Kakko. Borgen has appeared in 33 games for the Kraken this season, and has recorded two points.
New York is tied for sixth in the Metropolitan Division with 31 points at 15-15-1, and will visit the Dallas Stars Thursday.
