(Montreal, QC) — Matt Boldy scored the eventual game-winning goal as team USA crushed team Finland 6-1 in the Four Nations Face-Off from Bell Centre.
The Wild forward scored late in the second period to give the U.S. a 2-1 lead. Minnesota blue-liner Brock Faber assisted on the goal, while Boldy also finished with an assist. Matthew Tkachuk led the USA’s scoring with two goals and one assist, while Brady Tkuchuk added two goals.
Boldy and Faber lead the USA to battle against Canada on Saturday at 7 p.m. on ABC.
