The 10-2 Bison receive the #2 seed and will have a first round bye in FCS Playoffs. They will face the winner of the ASUN-WAC Champion #15 Abilene Christian Wildcats and the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks. That game is scheduled for Saturday, November 30 at 2:00 PM on ESPN+. The second round game at the Fargodome is scheduled for December 7 at 2:00 PM on ESPN+. The Bison will have home field advantage through the semifinals.
Four teams from the Missouri Valley Football Conference made the tournament including the #3 South Dakota State Jackrabbits who received the MVFC automatic bid, the #4 South Dakota Coyotes and the #12 Illinois State Redbirds. The Missouri Valley has won 11 of the last 13 FCS Championships.
The FCS Championship Game is scheduled for January 6 at 6:00 on ESPN.
