(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins have already hand-picked their Opening Day starting pitcher.
Manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters yesterday that Pablo Lopez will man the rubber when the 2025 season begins in March. Lopez went 15-10 with a 4.08 ERA in 185 1/3 innings last season. He started for the Twins on Opening Day in the prior two seasons as well.
The Twins will open the 2025 season on Thursday, March 27 in St. Louis against the Cardinals.
