Area high school volleyball coach resigns midseason

(ARTHUR, ND) – WDAY Radio has learned that a high school volleyball coach has resigned midseason.

Sources say Northern Cass head girls volleyball coach Angie Johnson is no longer leading the high school volleyball program. The team’s roster with the North Dakota High School Activities Association reflects the change – listing only assistant coaches Beth Head and Jamie O’Halloran as coaches.

Johnson led the Jaguars to the 2023 North Dakota State Class “B” Volleyball championship, with a 3-1 victory over May-Port-CG.

WDAY Radio has reached out to officials with Northern Cass Public Schools for more information on the coaching change. The team is currently second in Region 1 play, with a 13-5-1 overall record and 6-2 Region 1 record.
