The road to the NBA Finals continued on Tuesday.
The Denver Nuggets moved one win away from the Western Conference Finals with a 112-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game Five of their second round series. Nikola Jokic finished with 40 points and 13 rebounds to help the Nuggets take a 3-2 series lead.
In the East, the New York Knicks crushed the Indiana Pacers 121-91 in Game Five of the conference semifinals. Jalen Brunson had 44 points and seven assists as the Knicks grabbed a 3-2 series lead.
The action continues on Wednesday with a pair of Game Five’s. In the East, the Celtics look to finish off the Cleveland Cavaliers in Boston with tip at 6 p.m. and game coverage available in TNT. In the West, the Dallas Mavericks pay a visit to the Oklahoma City Thunder at 8:30 p.m. with game coverage also available on TNT. That series is tied 2-2.
