(Indianapolis, IN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without their All-Star forward for at least a month.
ESPN is reporting that Karl-Anthony Towns will have surgery on a torn meniscus in his left knee soon. The report adds that Towns will be re-evaluated in a month. Towns is averaging 22.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in 60 starts this season.
The team expects him to be back in the line-up early in the Western Conference playoffs.
