52-point third quarter powers Wolves past Grizzlies

Minnesota Timberwolves used a franchise record 52-point third quarter to a 141-125 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night. The Wolves trailed by five points at the half before outsourcing the Grizzlies 52-25 in the third frame.

Anthony Edwards powered Minnesota with 44 points along with knocking down seven three-pointers on 11 attempts. Julius Randle added 31 points and 10 rebounds. Naz Reid (14), Rudy Gobert (13), Jaden McDaniels (10), and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (10) all also scored in double figures for the Wolves.

Minnesota is now in a three-way tie in the standings at 47-33 with Golden State and Memphis but sits in eighth place in the Western Conference with two games remaining in the regular season. The Pack will now visit the Brooklyn Nets on night two of their back-to-back on Friday night beginning at 8 p.m.
