(BISMARCK, ND) – North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley says a Mandan bar and non-profit charitable gaming organization worked together to violate state gaming laws and rules.
Wrigley said Wednesday that East Main Investments, LLC, which owns the Silver Dollar Bar, engaged in conduct violating North Dakota Administrative Code. The business required the Dakota Leathernecks Detachment number 1419, the licensed organization, to ‘select and operate a specific type of game and use the net proceeds to contribute to the Silver Dollar Bar’s softball and dart league fees.’
East Main Investments’ site authorization will be suspended for one year, dating back to July 1, with six months deferred for three years. East Main Investments is also required to pay a fine in the amount of the attorney’s fees and the company, and its owners, agents and representatives, will refrain from making statements contrary to the agreement.
