(HALLOCK, MINN) — A man is dead, a woman arrested and the Minnesota BCA investigating after a death was reported in Hallock.
The Kittson County Sheriff’s Office says it happened in the 200 block of 2nd Street SW when authorities received a 9-1-1 call reporting the death. Upon arrival of the authorities, an adult male was found deceased. Foul play was suspected.
Law enforcement secured the scene and called in the Crime Scene Team personnel from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension were called to assist in the investigation of the incident.
Jordan Hanson, a 23-year-old, was arrested and booked into the Kittson County Jail on suspicion of murder. The case will be forwarded to the Kittson County Attorney when completed for consideration of charges.
The victim is not being identified until formal identification and family notification is complete.
The investigation is ongoing.
