ROSEAU, Minn. – A Warroad man is going to prison for gunning down his wife last year.
David Corneliusen has been sentenced to nearly 22 years behind bars. The 65-year-old pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the death of his wife, Mary. Corneliusen was offered a Norgaard plea where he doesn’t remember the crime but admits to his role in it.
He is expected to serve the first 13-and-a-half years in prison and the balance of his term will be served on supervised release.
