Walz ‘has no plans’ to rescind return-to-work order

(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is doubling down on his back-to-the-office order.

His office says 60 percent of state workers already work in the office some or all of the time. Governor Walz says he has no plans to rescind the order. The proposal calls for state employees to return to work at least 50 percent of the time but not full-time. The state worker unions oppose the idea.

There is an exemption for workers who live more than 75 miles away from their work site.
