(MAYVILLE, ND) — We’re learning about a train car derailment yesterday in Mayville.
A single locomotive derailed upright while Burlington Northern Santa Fe was serving an industry at Mayville, a spokesperson said.
The street crossing was occupied by the locomotive while officials waited for mechanical crews to ensure the wheels were safely back on the rails and the locomotive could move out of the area.
