Tim Walz officially accepts nomination for Vice President on the Democratic Ticket

CHICAGO, IL — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is accepting the nomination to be the next vice president.

The 60-year-old Walz accepted the nomination at last night’s Democratic National Convention. In a keynote address likened to a “pep talk,” the former high school football coach called on Democrats to leave it all on the field when it comes to this November’s election.

Walz stressed that he was proud to have protected abortion rights in his state and warned that if Donald Trump wins, those rights will be stripped away.
