Cass and Barnes Counties are temporarily banning campfires as burn restrictions expand across the state.
As of this publication, burn restrictions are present across the state, as drought conditions continue to intensify in Western and South Eastern North Dakota. Controlled burns must be called in and restrictions are in place for campfires, garbage burnings, and cropland burnings.
