(Fargo, ND) — Senator Kevin Cramer was among a group of U.S. senators who confronted and chased after the head of the Secret Service last night at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
The senators started to follow quickly after Kimberly Cheatle, who refused to answer questions about the agency’s handling of the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
Some of the heated confrontation was captured on camera and video of the encounter is now posted on X.
At one point, the senators had Cheatle surrounded.
Cramer can be heard saying to Cheatle, “you answer to us.”
Cheatle answered saying,”I’m happy to answer your questions. We’ll do it in a different forum.”
